What is vocational training and why should I choose it?

Vocational Training is training whilst you work.  It is the chance for you to gain valuable qualifications, whilst developing important work experience and earning money at the same time.

In the future 2 out of 3 jobs will require a higher level of skills and better qualifications and now is the time to get ready for this.   Your future is in your hands….. and by taking part in vocational training it will help you prepare yourself for the future and kick start your career.

What training will I undertake?
Vocational Training is based upon your ability to demonstrate competence in the workplace to a standard appropriate for the sector you work in and obtain an NVQ or Apprenticeship. This is a recommended route for people to qualify for care or child care roles.
